During that time, it became clear that most products were designed around manufacturing cost, marketing appeal, and scalability — not biological effectiveness.

Clinton Sellers is a formulator, educator, and industry insider who has spent more than two decades working at the intersection of human biology, nutrition, and supplement formulation.
His journey began in his early twenties, when he rapidly rose to co-run a major international supplement company and later ran an independent organisation of more than 17,000+ distributors, supporting customers and health professionals across multiple countries. During this time, he delivered thousands of live presentations, educated audiences ranging from members of the public to medical and health professionals, and toured extensively with scientists, pharmacists, and pharmacognosists, translating complex biological science into practical understanding.
Over the years, Clinton has spoken to many tens of thousands of people, appeared on broadcast and satellite television, and organised large-scale health education events featuring scientists, clinicians, and public figures. His work exposed him to the inner workings of the global supplement industry — from formulation laboratories and manufacturing facilities to the commercial forces that shape the products millions of people consume every day.
What he discovered fundamentally changed his direction.
He saw that many supplements were designed around cost, marketing, and label appeal — not human biology. Synthetic nutrients presented as natural. Processing methods that destroyed nutritional integrity. Formulas built to maximise margins rather than support physiology.
He made the decision to do something different.
Clinton founded NewGen Xtra to create formulations built from the ground up around how the human body actually functions — digestion, microbiome ecology, antioxidant systems, mineral utilisation, and cellular metabolism. His flagship formulation, Superfoods Plus, became the foundation of a wider range of products developed using the same biology-first philosophy.
Unlike most companies, Clinton formulates products before considering cost, ensuring each ingredient has a clear biological purpose and functional role.
His work is now forming the basis of his forthcoming book, Built on Lies: Health, Biology, and Power — How an Industry Learned to Sell Illusion, which exposes hidden industry practices while helping people understand how to make informed decisions about their health.
